Class
music workshops

Class music
workshops could take the form of
- single,
self-contained sessions with an appropriate mix of singing, playing,
composing, listening and appraising activities
- a series
of sessions exploring a range of skills
- a single
project in depth
- song-writing
(performing and recording options)
- after school
and holiday music club projects
All workshops
can be used to deliver National Curriculum aims and objectives, if required,
and I have years of experience at matching good music practice with models
exemplified in the QCA scheme of work. On the other hand, we could
just get on with making music ...
By special
arrangement, your pupils' music can be recorded during the session. Then
the recording can be edited and burned to cd for a permanent record of
their work. If required I can also provide you with mp3 files if the school's
website makes a point of showcasing pupils' work.
Prices (exclusive
of travel and any other expenses negotiated) range from £80 for
up to two hours in school for just the workshop (with up to three class-sized
groups) to £300 per day for the workshop, recording and cd option.
